Ottawa, Canada, January 11, 2018 - Harris’ Healthcare group (“Harris”) announced today that it has completed the acquisition of the Decision Support Systems (“DSS”) business from Vizient, Inc. DSS provides services and software for payer contract modeling, contract administration, cost accounting and budgeting. DSS will continue to help customers make strategic decisions with clear visibility into critical volume, cost and profitability measures across the continuum of care.
DSS’ solutions complement Harris’s existing healthcare information technology (“HCIT”) portfolio. Harris will continue to develop, sell, implement, and support the DSS products from its headquarters in El Segundo, CA.
