Ottawa, Canada, March 24, 2017 | Harris’ Healthcare group (“Harris”) announced today that it has completed the acquisition of Gateway Electronic Medical Management Systems (“GEMMS”). GEMMS will be run as an independent business unit of Harris. It will continue to be led by Rodger Pinto, Ph.D., who will assume the role of Executive Vice President.
Dr. Pinto commented, “Harris brings market expertise and financial resources, which will allow us to further enhance our GEMMS offerings and strengthen our customer relationships long-term.”
GEMMS is a leading provider of electronical medical records (EMR) and practice management solutions (PM) for cardiology and other practices in the United States.
GEMMS provides its customers with a fully integrated EMR allowing for a seamless workflow throughout the entire patient care cycle.
