Ottawa, ON, October 21, 2022 — Harris, a global vertical market software provider, acquires Mid America Computer Corporation (MACC), a telecommunications software provider, and EnSite Incorporated, a retail energy software provider.
Since 1975, more than 350 US telecommunications providers have utilized MACC’s billing, accounting and carrier access billing systems to realize profiles and boost efficiencies. “Harris focuses exclusively on software companies, applying industry best-practices for their businesses' continued growth and success,” Chief Executive Officer, Craig Aman said. “This change aligns seamlessly with MACC’s existing strategic plan for product evolution and customer growth. We felt Harris was the perfect partner as they provide a permanent home for our customers and our employees. MACC will operate autonomously under the leadership of Chief Executive Officer Craig Aman and Chief Operations Office, Bob Sims.
