HCTC 2024: Recap and Highlights.

The 2024 HCTC brought together over 1100 attendees, it made a significant impact for all involved. Harris was well-represented as the following Business Units attended to communicate and share knowledge with their client-base: Advanced Utility Systems, Altera Digital Health, Cayenta, Cogsdale, DataVoice, Harris ERP, inHANCE, NorthStar, ServiceLink, SmartWorks, System Innovators and Systems & Software.

Highlights included the "Let’s Glow" Cocktail Reception, sponsored by InvoiceCloud, and the lively All-Star Banquet, sponsored by Paymentus, featuring an impressive entrance by a 10-piece drumline.

While large conferences benefit industries in host cities, they can also strain local infrastructure, the environment, and resources. At HCTC, we work to reduce this impact by using eco-friendly, B-certified swag and partnering with a carbon capture organization, Tradewater to offset emissions from travel for HCTC attendees. This year, we’ve committed to recapturing over 900 tons of CO2e—equivalent to 2.3 million miles driven by a gasoline-powered vehicle or the energy used by 119 homes for a year.

HCTC also seeks to positively impact the local community. In Atlanta, we partnered with Science ATL, a nonprofit that engages 100,000 people annually through science outreach. Group Presidents Marcus Perez and Rob McGinnis presented a $15,000 donation to Science ATL co-founder Jordan Rose during the event.
